01 / Your personal feed

An inbox for discovery.
A way to find your bearings.

Instead of adding more places to check, give your content a place to come together.

01

Your sources, together

Follow RSS and Atom feeds, podcasts and newsletters via IMAP. The project also has YouTube, Reddit and X connectors, depending on linked accounts and compatibility.

02

Organization that fits

Sort your sources into folders, mark favorite sources as VIP and distinguish read items from those waiting for you.

03

Keep a thread to return to

Save a bookmark, add a note or keep an excerpt. Search and filters help you find your discoveries again.

04

A queue for your next listen

Add interesting items without interrupting playback. Ready audio items play in sequence in your listening queue.

05

Another way to follow content

Listen to podcasts and spoken versions of compatible content. For YouTube videos, Flux can prepare a transcript and audio summary, depending on server configuration.

06

Your reading, across screens

Use Flux on iPhone and iPad, or from a browser connected to your personal server. The current project depends on this private installation.

02 / From discovery to listening

Keep an idea.
Take the next part with you.

01

Discover

An article or video catches your attention in the inbox.

02

Keep

Add a bookmark or note, or put the content in your queue.

03

Listen

Return to a podcast, spoken article or prepared audio summary.

03 / Your time, differently

Another way
to follow your discoveries.

There is not always time to read or watch everything. Your listening queue turns selected content into an audio sequence you choose.

Summary preparation depends on the source, transcription and configured engines. A summary remains an interpretation; the original source still matters.

A few things to know

Can I download Flux?

Flux is a personal project in development. This page introduces it; it does not offer public registration, a purchase or a download. Email me to ask about availability.

Which sources can I follow?

RSS/Atom, podcasts and IMAP newsletters are part of the project. YouTube, Reddit and X use connectors that depend on account connections and platform behavior; their availability may change.

Do I need a server?

The current version relies on a personal server that the app and browser connect to. This page does not open access to that private installation or offer a public hosted service.

How do audio summaries work?

The server prepares compatible content: extraction or transcription, a summary using the configured engine, then voice generation. Preparation can take time or fail depending on the source. Voices and services depend on configuration.

Does everything stay on my device?

No. The project processes and stores items on its personal server and contacts configured sources. Some summary or voice engines may use external services; Flux does not promise fully local or offline operation.
